Wanlov the kubolor names daughter after Ebony Reigns

In a tweet on his Twitter handle, Wanlov the kubolor said that even though he had a name in mind for his daughter before she was born, he felt it was right to change it in Ebony’s honour.

Ghanaian musician Wanlov the kubolor has named his daughter after his dead colleague in the industry Priscilla Opoku Acheampong popularly referred to as Ebony.

In a tweet on his Twitter handle, Wanlov the kubolor said that even though he had a name in mind for his daughter before she was born, he felt it was right to change it in Ebony’s honour.

Wanlov has now named his daughter Ebony Akosua Mansa.

On the 21 birthday of Ebony Reigns, Wanlov said “Ebony my daughter was born 3 days after you passed on…I had a name for her, but that has changed…I hope Ebony Akosua Mansa lives up to your level of strength and love…happy birthday”

The ‘Maame hwe’ hitmaker died in a gruesome road accident on Thursday night February 8, 2018, around 11:30 p.m. at Nyame Bekyere near Mankranso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.

The Jeep which Ebony and 3 others were in had a head-on collision with a VIP bus.

The 3 others are her friend, Franky Kuri, a soldier identified as Francis Atsu Vondee and the driver.
