Agya Pa Honors celebrated fathers in a unique style

The event was setup in a traditional theme with Sunday afternoon local Ghanaian dishes, drinks and cocktails. This was to give patrons "a feel of what we were enjoying back in the years in the village."

It is in this light that Agya Pa honours was held this year to appreciate and celebrate fathers for all their diligence at fatherhood.

As the maiden edition of Agya Pa honours, the event organisers and sponsors said it will be held annually.

Chief Executive Officer of Prima Rosa Irene Nti said: "Mothers have been pampered for so long leaving behind the fathers. There is also little euphoria when it's fathers' day. So we hope to make this a yearly event to honour and celebrate fathers."

At the event, some fathers were also honoured for their sterling performance at fatherhood.

One of the award winners Coach Oti Akenteng said he was grateful to be honoured.

"I did not know anybody was watching me. I was only trying to give my children the best I could offer."

"I will urge all fathers to love their wives and children, care for them, be there when you have the time and give them your very best. Maybe nobody will honour you like I have been but your children will hold you in high esteem."

Agya Pa honours was proudly organised by Prima Rosa.
