Angry lion attacks cars in this scary video

The incident happened in South Africa, but fortunately none of the occupants of the cars was harmed because the window glasses had been rolled up.

The video was taken by a 29-year-old visitor to South Africa, Mark Williams-Wynn.

He said he was driving on the H12, near Skukuza in Kruger National Park, only to come across some vehicles with the occupants watching a male and female lion in the road.

Mark Williams-Wynn further narrated that the lion in question was apparently on heat and tried to mate with a lioness, but the latter resisted it with a “fierce growl,” according to UPI.com.

Mark said “After the umpteenth attempt, all of a sudden, he walked away from her and started staring at the occupants of the closest car.”

Out of curiosity, Mark Williams-Wynn said “I started the camera rolling, as, quick as a flash, he had attacked the car and turned back to the female, as if to say, ‘Look how brave I am.’ There was nothing that the occupants of the vehicle had done wrong, and luckily, they had their windows up, as it could have otherwise ended in disaster. They just happened to be the closest vehicle to the lion when he lost his mind. The shaken tourists in the vehicle drove off shaken but unharmed.”

There was however no casualty, as indicated because according to Mark Williams-Wynn, “the game guide driving this vehicle had lightning reflexes. As soon as the lion locked eyes with him, he started the vehicle and was already moving when the lion attacked.”
