He was not only heartlessly murdered, but the poor albino has been found dead in Mozambique with his brain missing.

According to the BBC, local resident in Tete in western Mozambique, who asked to remain anonymous said that, the teenager's parents started searching for him when he didn't return home.

His body was reportedly found with bones from his arms and legs missing and his head split open. Residents further revealed that his brain had been taken.

The Tete Provincial Police Command has said it would begin investigations at the scene of the crime immediately and bring the perpetrators to book.

This is the latest in a series of crimes against people with albinism whose body parts are used in rituals.

Some people are of the superstitious belief that, body parts of albinos, if used for rituals, engender success especially in business. That is the reason why in certain parts of the world they are hunted like bush animals and killed cold-bloodedly.

They are discriminated against, mocked and their fundamental human rights denied them in several ways.

Humanitarian organisations such as Amnesty International and even Association of Persons Living with Albinism have spoken against the cruelty albinos are subjected to, making life difficult for them, but to no avail.
