Man gets job after years of joblessness, but dies a day before he starts work

Could this be destiny or what? That is the question people are asking after the death of a man who had searched for job for years, but died just a day to staring one he finally found.

The Nigerian man by name, Victor Nwobike reportedly fell ill on that day after expressing delight and some sort of relief to his friends about how he finally was going to start working at the Nigerian railway corporation the next day.

He was hoping to travel to Lagos where his long anticipated place of work would be, but unfortunately passed away leaving most of his friends in a state of shock.

Facebook user who claimed to be Victor Nwobike’s friend posted his image with a message of condolence.

Ibifuro Thompson Tatua wrote on Facebook that:

“From Dame Ibifuro Thompson Tatua:Today We Lost a Young Man Postmodernist Victor Nwobike popularly called PVN or Postmodernist, He was Known for his Use Of Big Grammars and was Vigor, He has been in the Struggle for a while Now and he at The Nigerian Railway Corporation to Resume Work tomorrow Monday, He Spoke Excitedly About it just Yesterday Evening and was to Travel today to Lagos to Start Work 2moro and 5am Today He got Sick and died shortly after, and this got Me thinking since Afternoon, Is this Destiny? What is this Called?

“Just last Night he was Excited and Well, Since Last year he has been doing follow-Up on this Job, he has been Broke and Struggling and Just a Day He is to Resume The Long Awaited Job, He Died, this is a Very Annoying Time to Die, I Have been Thinking a lot why he had to fall sick today and Die today just like that? Abi Village People that he has gone to brief about his Trip, or what? I just don’t get it! God Please oo, Abeg ooo, Have Mercy On Us. Cover your Children, R.I.P. Postmodernist. I am still shocked.”

Confirming the sad story, yabaleftonline.ng quoted ne Iyke Ahaka as having written:

"Comrade postmodernist Victor Nwobike was a good friend to all, he is man who believed in truth and stand for what is just, he is one of the most finest brillant and eloquent young men I have met as a person.Today I received the news of his demise this afternoon with shock and unable to hold my tears, what a loss!!

"I pray that God almighty will give his family the strenght and courage to bear this heavy loss.RIP late friend."
