Nickname as "the Bulldozer", President Magufuli’s latest action has got many critics saying he is to autocratic, but obviously some have applauded him.

The BBC report says a 30-second clip of the exchange shows Mr. Magufuli asking Mwantum Kitwana Dau to state how much money had been earmarked for a road fund.

The controversial President scolded the official when she failed to answer, but said she oversees many departments and could not immediately recall the exact budget allocated for road projects.

Mwantum Kitwana Dau’s response did not go down well with President Magufuli who said "You can't talk to me like that."

Early this year, he sacked around 10,000 civil servants for having fake education certificates and has also removed thousands of ‘ghost’ workers from public sector payroll.
