These are top 5 weirdest stories published on Pulse in 2017

You may have your opinions, but arguably, these stories stand tall among all weird stories published this year. It was really hard coming to this conclusion though.

First on the list is the one in which desperation and curiosity caused a 31-year old woman’s admission to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after the 14-month-old toddler she was babysitting got stuck in her vaginal cavity.

According to worldnewsdailyreport.com, Latifah Brown called 911 around 9:30 PM and reported that she had a baby stuck in her vagina.

The operator who attended to the call, initially assumed that she was giving birth at home, and therefore dispatched an ambulance to the location.

The paramedics were surprised when they arrived on the site and saw what was actually happening.

One of the paramedics, Brian Whitmore expressed astonishment about the incident in an interview with WBNS-10 TV.

He said “The little boy wore a diaper and pyjamas, but he had his legs and abdomen stuck in the woman’s vagina.”

The paramedics spent more than an hour on the site trying to release the child from his difficult position, to no avail.

“I don’t know how she got the child in there! We were both pulling as strong as we could and he wouldn’t come out,” said one of the paramedics.

Ms. Brown and the child were subsequently conveyed to the hospital, where doctors were able to separate them after a delicate operation.

The toddler suffered a dislocated hip, but doctors were confident it would not cause any further problem.

When the babysitter was interrogated by police, she confessed to deliberately inserting the child in her vaginal cavity.

Her explanation was that, she was feeling depressed after her doctor had told her she could never have children and wanted to know how it felt to give birth.

Following closely is the one in which a male nurse was arrested by the police after he was caught by a bereaved husband having sex with corpse of his wife who had just died from a lung related problem.

The obviously marveled husband could not control his temper and gave the nurse some serious beating before he handed him over to police in the Bolivian capital La Paz.

The 27-year-old nurse named locally as Grover Macuchapi, is now facing prosecution on charges of profaning a corpse and obscene acts.

Confirming the arrest, Police chief Douglas Uzquiano said the appalling incident happened on Monday night around an hour after the female patient died at Hospital de Clinicas in La Paz, and was transferred to a hospital morgue.

Mr. Douglas Uzquiano said “Relatives of the dead woman had gone to the hospital to cancel a debt they had for the medical treatment she received.

“The husband went to the morgue and saw a male nurse having sex with his late wife.”

A local Newspaper reported the unnamed husband (widower) as saying “I saw what he was doing and hit him. He was moving and he had his trousers down.”

Interestingly, the pervert hospital worker blamed his actions on a trance.

He reportedly said “Something happened. It was like a dream. The next thing I remember was feeling a blow from behind when the woman's husband hit me.”

The 28-year-old, had only died around an hour before she was targeted by the nurse.

Prosecutors said Macuchapi could not be charged with necrophilia because the offence didn't exist under Peruvian law.

Another story which stands tall among others this year has to do with the one in which a 13-years-old girl, Nelly Masangu lost her life after her aunt pored paraffin on her and set her ablaze for allegedly stealing her R500.

Nelly Masangu was rushed to a hospital but died a few days later from the third-degree burn wounds she sustained.

When her aunt, Anna Mahlangu appeared before the Pretoria High Court for the first time to answer to a murder charge, she pleaded not guilty, saying she never planned to kill her niece.

Anna Mahlangu’s explanation to the court was that she only wanted to teach her niece a lesson for stealing her money.

She said she has been traumatized by the death of her niece since her initial plan was only to scare Nelly Masangu from stealing again.

“I decided to pour paraffin over her and to pretend that I was going to burn her. I believed that she would never burn because I was going to put out the fire myself.

“Unfortunately, she slipped out of my hands and ran away. As she ran further away, the flames became even more. I and other tenants poured water at her in an effort to put out the fire. The fire was eventually put out but unfortunately, she had suffered burns.

“I never intended to burn her as I loved her. I had high hopes for her to one day make something of herself,” she claimed.

In this same year, a 38-year-old Californian woman born with two vaginas has sued the federal state to court to grant her the rare right to marry two men by virtue of her condition.

Joyce Seymour has argued that she and other people who are born with the condition, be it male or female should be granted the liberty to satisfy their “emotional, physical and religious needs.”

The lawsuit Seymour has filed is intended to fight for people suffering from genital anomalies such as Diphallia or penile duplication and Uterus didelphys, the condition of having two separate uteruses, to be given that special freedom to marry more than one spouse.

She explained to reporters that “I am born with a double set of genitals that clearly entitles me to share my life and be united under God with two men of my liking.

“I have never been sexually fulfilled by one man alone. My body is biologically suited for threesomes and there is no reason I should be ashamed of that fact.”

Seymour further asked “If the federal government has legalized interracial marriages and same-sex marriages, why not polygamous marriages?”

Again, Manush Sanman, an organisation in India has awarded a driver that country at its latest Humanity Fair for driving without blaring his car horn for the past 18 years.

A report by odditycentral.com suggests that some cars do not have side mirrors, and others have them folded because extending them outwards could lead to collision with other vehicles.

Drivers who ply Indian roads resort to consistent and reckless horning to avoid collision by virtue of the chaotic nature of the road resulting from reckless driving.

However, there are some few drivers who are opposed to the move, as they admit it causes noise pollution.

One of such drivers is Dipak Das, based in Kolkata. He has been a fervent campaigner against noise pollution and for that reason refuses to horn in order to draw the attention of other drivers to avoid accident.

Reports say Dipak Das has abstained from horning for the past 18 years and rather placed a placard on his car with a campaign message against reckless horning.

He told Hindustan Times that “I think if a driver follows this no-horn policy, he will become more alert while driving. If a driver has proper sense of space, speed, and timing, he or she need not use horn.”

Dipak Das whose aim is to promote “no-honking city” in Kolkata believes “It is not something that cannot be achieved or very difficult to achieve. What is required for this is administrative and political goodwill.”

He was chosen for the award because all the celebrities and respectable people who have patronized his services before, have all testified to his no horning principle that he had stuck to for the past 18 years.

Kindly permit me to add the sixth one because it has been hard excluding the story of a Ukrainian strong man who reportedly holds 63 Guinness records and is equally the champion of the 1st championship of the Ukrainian Drug-free Powerlifting Federation, in the bench-press category, has done another unimaginable thing that may earn him another record.

Dmytro Khaladzhi amazingly carried a live horse on his back and moved with it without the horse either hurting him or weighing him down.

Reports further suggest that the 38-year-old Dmytro Khaladzhi has done many extraordinary things in the past, some of which earned him the Guinness records. He is on record to have made trucks ride over him, bent steel rods with his teeth and driven nails through wood with the palm of his hand among others.

However, his live horse lifting has reportedly earned him extra fame in Ukraine and probably beyond its borders.

What makes Dmytro Khaladzhi’s prowess mind-blowing is the fact that unlike others, he does his stuff mostly without hard drugs.
