5 ways to save money while eating out

For many single millennials and young working couples, it is much easier to take out food from a restaurant than to create your own meal.

Do you know how much water cost at restaurants? Some restaurants charge triple the prices on the market. You can save money by buying a bottle from a nearby shop before ordering your food.

  • Eat at home

If you don’t have a car, take public transport to the restaurant and take your order. It is much cheaper than paying a delivery fee.

  • Skip out on desserts and appetizers

If you are very hungry, you can buy a snack on your way to the restaurant because it will take 15- 20 minutes for your food to be ready. Similarly, you can buy an ice cream on your home which is very cheaper than a scoop at the restaurant.

  • Package your leftover

Don’t allow your uneaten food to go waste. Always take your leftover food home and have them for your dinner the following night.
