Tweeting Sunday morning, Mr Mahama said: "Eid Mubarak to my Muslim brothers and sisters on the successful end of the Ramadan fast."
"May Allah the Merciful accept all your supplications on our behalf and May He also continue to bless our beloved country, Ghana."
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk.
Majority of Ghanaian Muslims will join the Chief Imam tomorrow at the Independence Square for prayers.
However, some Muslims also prayed today to mark the end of fasting.
