'Humanity will miss KABA's humility and sense of humour' - Kweku Baako mourns

Speaking on Joy FM’s “Newsfile” Saturday, the veteran journalist described KABA’s death a “painful event.”

The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper has said Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong's (KABA) humility and sense of humour will be missed.

Speaking on Joy FM’s “Newsfile” Saturday, the veteran journalist described KABA’s death a “painful event.”

He said he was worried about the impact of KABA’s death on his nuclear family.

Speaking on the same show, A Deputy Attorney General  Joseph Dindiok Kpemka, said he had initial taken the news of KABA’s demise as a prank.

“I got a shock when I realized it was real,” he added.

KABA died at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital after he was rushed there following a short illness.

The actual cause of his death has not been confirmed but sources say he was diabetic.

His family has confirmed that the late broadcaster will be buried on December 16, 2017.

The burial will be preceded by a wake keeping on December 15 and a thanksgiving service on December 17.
