Owusu Bempah's prophecy about Capt. Mahama is false - family

According to the founder of the Glorious Word Power Ministry, Capt. Mahama's death was a part of the punishments former President John Mahama’s family must suffer for all the ‘demonic’ actions or spiritual charms he took to become head of state.

The slain soldier was the nephew of Mr Mahama.

Citing the the biblical story of David and the Gibeonites, Rev. Bempah said during the long famine in the days of David, David sought for the presence of God and the Lord said, “it is for Saul and his bloody house, because he put the Gibeonites to death" so David called the Gibeonites and spoke to them and they demanded seven men from Saul's sons to be given to them to be hanged to pacify their ancestors which David did.

He further explained that Capt Maxwell Mahama represents one of the seven sons (family) of former President Mahama who must suffer punishments in order to cleanse the land.

He added that to avert this, the clergy in Ghana must fast and pray for God to avert His anger against the country.

But reacting to the Rev. Bempah's comments on GHOne TV, a family spokesman, Zakari Ahmed said the prophecy was a "lie," saying he “must go and sleep where he slept again and seek clarification from God.”

“God never revealed to him. We feel what has happened can happen to anybody’s son," he said.

"Nana Kwaku Bonsam [a fetish priest], we believe people like him will go to heaven. He even called to wish us well and not even Bempah. If Owusu Bempah will go on air and say that about Mahama [then] is a big lie and he should stop it… he only wants to seek attention and must stop it," he said.
