“We won’t compromise on [a] credible electoral process. This is a determination that we will not compromise on for any reason.

"More so, we seek to ensure that the true will of the sovereign who are determined to see a change in government, is not compromised through any dubious means.

"We will not allow 2016 elections to be rigged,” John Boadu said at a news conference on Thursday in Accra.

Boadu said plans to transmit the election results electronically is "radically different" from what the Electoral Reform Committee proposed.

He said the party is concerned about the electronic transmission of election result because of the events of the 2012 elections.

“We are being carefully guided by the events of the 2012 elections as they were showcased to the shock of discerning Ghanaians during the presidential election petition trial to the Supreme Court,” he added.
