Foundation for jobs has been laid – Akufo-Addo says

“The foundation has been laid for jobs. It has not been easy because we inherited a bankrupt economy but because of the ingenuity of the people I am working with we have been able to lay a good foundation,” he said at the Heroes park, the venue for the conference.

He also acknowledged challenges his government had to deal with, including the lawlessness of the Invincible and Delta Forces, vigilante groups associated with the NPP.

He also described as a success, the planting for food and jobs programme.

He also pledged to revive the National Health Insurance Programme, boasting that his government has fulfilled the promise to make Senior High School free.
