NDC sponsoring Odike's UPP - NPP alleges
According to the NPP Communications Director, Nana Akomea, he has evidence in the form of a secret tape recording which suggests that the NDC will be supporting Odike's party with huge sums of money.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Mr. Akomea said the move by the NDC is to contest NPP support ahead of the November polls.
Mr. Akomea further said the UPP party colours bears a close resemblance to that of the NPP.
“Why would a new political party chose its colours so closely to another political party?", Mr. Akomea asked, adding that the colours are to confuse supporters.

The party colours have been the bone of contention between the two political parties.
However, the founder of the UPP, Odike has denied the allegations, adding that the emblem of the NPP is very different from his party.
He believed the party is only out to destroy his hard-won reputation ahead of the November polls.
