Ex-Black Queens striker is dead

Gloria Oforiwaa has passed away after a short illness.

Oforiwaa suffered a sudden sickness which has not been disclosed yet and died immediately after she was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

She represented Ghana at both the 2003 and 2007 FIFA Women's World Cups and was also part of the Black Queens  teams that won bronze and silver medals in the early 2000's in the African Women's Championship.

Gloria Oforiwaa, a former player of Ghatel Ladies passed away at age 36.

May her soul rest in perfect peace.
