Accra Hearts of Oak managed to beat Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1, whereas Asante Kotoko were edged by a goal to nil at the Bechem Park on match day 28 of the Ghana Premier League.

Winful Cobbinah started the scoring in the first half and Joshua Otoo doubled the score line, but after the interval Joseph Essor reduced the deficit for Ebusua Dwarfs.

Abubakar Sadiq Hadji’s late minute goal has handed Bechem United all the three points against Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The game was a ding dong battle- both sides had a share of the opportunities, but goalkeeper Ernest Adu was the reason why Asante Kotoko failed to find the back of the net in the second half of the game. He made several good saves to thwart the effort of the visitors.

And when the game was cruising to a goalless Sadiq Hadji sent the Bechem fans into wild jubilation with the only goal of the game.

Asante Kotoko are in danger of missing out on the top four for a back to back season with two games to spare- They are fourth on the league log, but just a point above 5th placed Berekum Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak who are lying 3rd on the league ladder and are 7 points above rivals Asante Kotoko, which means they have confirmed a place in the top four.
