Star Times came under a lot of ridicule and criticism during the just ended 2015/2016 season of the Ghana Premier League

Mr Eli Kondoh in speaking to Radio XYZ spoke on what the arrival of the Startimes OB van improves in terms quality of coverage with regards to live matches.

“The average OB Van has a maximum of 8 cameras but this very one has 12.” “This means we will see improved angle shots and a lot more will change in terms of coverage.”

“All transmission this time is going to be in HD. We are going to see clearer pictures and every detail in terms of what is going to happen on the field.

“We are likely to see players sweating and if I say HD we are talking real high definition quality.

“That’s how beautiful the game is going to be looking next season with the arrival of a new OB Van.”

Startimes signed a deal worth $17,950,000 for a span of 10 years to cover the Ghana Premier League, MTN FA Cup, National Women’s League, National Division One League and Juvenile League.
