Kotoko driver breaks silence on what happened before the accident

Nana Berchie the driver of the Porcupine has spoken for the first since the team got involved in a road accident last week.

The Asante Kotoko team bus run into a parked truck on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi highway while returning from Accra after a match against Inter Allies.  The fatal accident claimed the life of the Equipment Officer of the Porcupine Warriors, Thomas Kofi Asare and several others sustained various degrees of injuries.

The team driver Nana Berchie went unconscious after the accident and after gaining  consciousness, he has narrated what happened before the accident.

“A car overtook me and because it was using the highlight it affected my vision and a truck which was seemingly in motion in front of the Kotoko bus suddenly stopped, so I run into it," he said in an interviewed played on Kumasi based Silver FM.
