Hearts in make or break clash against Aduana Stars

The Phobians will do battle with the Dormaa lads at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra on Wednesday.

The Accra giants will seek revenge when they come face to face against Aduana Stars, a side they lost 0-2 to in the first round of the Ghana Premier League and it will be an opportunity to also boost their title hopes.

Aduana Stars are leading the pack in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, with Hearts of Oak lying 3rd on the log sheet, with five games to go.

A win would enable the Accra giants to close the gap to a point and make them a true title contender, with the aim of ending their league trophy drought- they last won one in the 2008-09 season.

The Dormaa boys have never beaten Hearts of Oak in Accra since they made their debut in the 2009-10 season.

Both sides won their weekend league matches- The Phobians edged Olympics 2-1, while Aduana Stars piped Inter Allies 1-0.

Hearts of Oak will be counting on the form of Patrick Razak, Thomas Abbey, Kwame Kizito and Wilful Cobbinah, whereas Aduana Stars have equally good players in Derrick Sasraku, Elvis Opoku, Zakaria Mumuni, Bright Adjei, etc.
