Ghana Football Association Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie-Daara has lashed out on Accra Great Olympics. This comes after the side placed an injunction on all activities related to the Ghana Premier League which was to start on 10 February,2018.
Ibrahim Sannie-Daara in speaking to the media spoke to the fact that clubs are supposed to put their houses in order to attract sponsors for the league.
“It starts with the clubs. If they put their house in order people will be appreciative and come and sponsor them,”
“You don’t put your house in order but turn around to blame the FA, meanwhile it is you who will delay the start of the league and put impediments on the progress of the league.
“When a sponsor is going to exercise his rights to benefit from sponsoring the league then the club prevents it and you still expect the FA to be able to secure more sponsorship deals?”
Accra Great Olympics served the Ghana Football Association with an injunction which caused the GFA and Premier League Board to cancel the launch of the Ghana Premier League which was to take place on 5th February, 2018.
The case which was heard on Tuesday was also adjourned to 21 February,2018.
