A united Ghana team can win AFCON 2019 – Raphael Dwamena

The striker is already aiming for AFCON glory in 2019.

The FC Zurich forward has been a mainstay in the Black Stars set-up, since scoring a double on his debut against Ethiopia in June.

Dwamena was however unable to help his nation secure qualification to next year’s World Cup in Russia, with Egypt picking up the slot after topping Group E.

The Bulky striker, though, is now focusing on helping Ghana win the next Africa Cup of Nations, and believes it is possible if the team can remain united.

“When we meet, we just have to be as a team regardless of the fact that we don’t stay together for long,” Dwamena is quoted as saying by GHANAsoccernet.com.

The 22-year-old has scored two goals so far for the Black Stars, and looks set for a lengthy stay with the national team.
