Countryman Songo's comments after the friendly against Mexico and USA was what everyone was waiting. The 'Fire for Fire' man has spoken.

It was the first time the Black Stars captain had played a spot kick in open play for the senior national team of Ghana in five years.

As usual, fans across the country hit out at Gyan who had promised not to take a penalty kick for the Black Stars.

One interesting twist of the saga was, popular Black Stars critic, Patrick Osei Agyemang also known as Countryman Songo had earlier lashed out at the team and subtly thrown shade at Asamoah Gyan.
