GPL team for match day 18

Pulse Sports has produced its team for match day 18 of the Ghana Premier League

Jacob Laweh

He is a left full-back but because of his scintillating performance that helped his side secured a 0-4 win against Olympics in the Accra Sports Stadium he will be shifted to the right full-pack to allow Dennis Korsah who equally did well in that position to make the team of the week.

Laweh was one of the sources of the Tema Youth frequent attack and ensured he helped in defensive duties as well.

Dennis Korsah

The left back put up a good show for Ebusua Dwarfs as they defeated Bechem United 1-0 in Cape Coast. He achieved about 95% passing accuracy and his interception were also on the high level. Korash was one of the players who were tipped for the Most Valuable Player of the game, but he missed out on the award.

Hashmin Musah

The Inter Allies centre-back aside the several blocks and interceptions scored the only goal for his side when they edged Elmina Sharks and consequently won the Man of the Match award.

Vincent Atingah

He continued with his goal scoring form for Hearts of Oak, scoring twice when they defeated Bolga All Stars 4-0. He also manned the Hearts of Oak defence with good clearance and interceptions, in addition to picking most of the aerial balls.

David Abagna

The Wa All Stars central midfielder was the toast of the home fans as he scored a brace in the league champions 3-0 thrashing of Berekum Chelsea. He retained possession and his he was also spot on with his distributions.

Majeed Ashimeru

He was the only player who could control the ball when his outfit WAFA drew goalless at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park. He was a torn in the flesh of the opposing side at their backyard.

Thomas Abbey

The Hearts of Oak winger gave an assist and he was workaholic throughout by the taking the game to the Bolga All Stars lads

 Prince Owusu

The youngster has been the most consistent performer in the AshGold team and he demonstrated it against Medeama. His passes and dribbles and runs caused a lot of troubles for the Medeama defence.

Baba Mahama

The former Techiman United talisman played very well in an attacking midfield role for Kotoko. His passes found the target men and he was difficult to be dispossessed by the Aduana Stars defence when they shared the spoils.

Joseph Paintsil

He was undoubtedly the star man of match day 18. The striker scored a hat-trick for Tema Youth when they earned an emphatic 0-4 win at Gt. Olympics. He was voted the Man of the Match of the game.
