Ghanaian returns to Juventus midfield like a boss, wins MOTM

Kwadwo Asamoah played the full game for Juventus in their 2-1 win over Fiorentina.

The midfielder played little part for the Italian Serie A champions last season due to injuries.

Asamoah however recovered getting to the end of last season and had a great pre-season with Juventus.

The Black Stars player was handed a start and went on to play in the full duration of the game as Juventus secured a 2-1 win at home in their first game towards their title defence.

Sami Khedira opened the scoring for Juventus eight minutes to the end of the first half as the champions took their slender lead into the interval.

Nikola Kalinic equalized for away team Fiorentina but new signing Gonzalo Higuain secured the win for Juventus with a goal on his league debut for the club.

The win takes Juventus second on the league log with most of the Serie A opening games set to be played.

Roma occupy the first position on the log after thrashing Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu’s Udinese by four goals to nil.
