Cristiano Ronaldo has hit back at his critics after leading Real Madrid to their 33rd La Liga title on Sunday.
The Portuguese forward opened the scoring in the second minute of Los Blancos' final day 2-0 victory over Malaga, sealing the club's place at the top of the table.
Frustrated by the repercussions of his comment about Celta Vigo players receiving a briefcase full of money during their clash last week, the 32-year-old used the triumphant occasion to clear his name.
'People talk about me as if I were a delinquent and they don't know s***,' Ronaldo told Marca. 'I'm not a saint but I'm not the devil either.
'I don't watch TV because if I did, I wouldn't have a life for all that is said about me - they mistake me for who I am off and on the pitch.'
