Kumasi Asante Kotoko booked a place in the last eight of the MTN FA Cup after they defeated division one side Wassaman by a goal to nil at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Kumasi on Sunday.

Yakubu Mohammed was brought own in the 18-yard box and Amo Frimpong who stepped up for the spot kick displaced the goalkeeper to give Asante Kotoko the only goal of the game.
The second half failed to produce any goal despite both sides coming close to scoring.
