The Head coach of the Black Stars B has stated that his side will not belittle the threat their semi final opponents Niger will have to offer.

We won't underestimate Niger - Maxwell Konadu
The Black Stars B will take on Niger in the semi final of the WAFU tournament at 6pm on Thursday.

Speaking to the media, Maxwell Konadu was full of praise and respect for the team from Niger:"I think Niger are a good side to be frank and coming this far we cannot underate them."
The Black Stars B will take on Niger in the semi final of the WAFU tournament at 6pm on Thursday the 21st of September,2017.
Konadu did drop a hint on how his side are going to approach the game "We have to focus on our game plan and stop their danger man from playing".

"We that are hoping to play according to our strengths. When we lose the ball we just close our ranks,and make sure they don't penetrate."
Maxwell Konadu has supervised the Black Stars B team since the year 2013 when he was first appointed assistant coach of the Ghana Black Stars.
He did take the team to the final of the 2014 CHAN tournament and has failed to do so in the two subsequent editions. Winning the WAFU tournament should do some good for the Black Stars B team and Maxwell Konadu.
