Ghanaian defender
Amartey joined the Blue Army from FC Copenhagen in the January transfer window and continues his battle for full fitness ahead of his first senior game for Claudio Ranieri’s team.
The defender who can also play an equally good role in midfield has gotten some playing time with Leicester Development Squad and to Foxes Player HD after helping the club’s Under-21s win their game against Manchester City:
“I feel good. I feel better but I have to keep working on my fitness now. I am enjoying it, I am happy to be here, the people are nice.
“My team-mates were all nice when I came here, everybody has been good to me. I am very happy to be here.”
The former FC Copenhagen also has an eye on first team football in the future and wants to help his Leicester City side as their quest to win the English Premier League enters a crunch time.
Amartey could made his first team debut on Saturday when Claudio Ranieri’s men play Nowich City at the King Power Stadium with Leicester right back Danny Simpson suspended for the game.
The Ghana international added:
“I am just here to do my best and make the fans happy.”
Leicester City have won 16 of their 26 Premier League games having lost only 3 for the 2015/2016 league campaign.
