Ghanaian midfielder plays in Ittihad's Champions League game

Sulley Muntari got some playing time for his Al Ittihad team in their Asian Champions League game against Lokomotiv Tashkent

The former AC Milan and Inter Milan player started the away game for his team and played 63 minutes before being replaced by Gosay Saad A Alshelali for his Al Ittihad side.

Muntari’s team could not run away with all points in the game as a late goal from home side Lokomotiv shared the spoils among the clubs.

Gelmin Rivas opened the scoring for away side Al Ittihad in the first half before Sardor Mirzayew’s goal a minute to the end of regulation time secured a 1-1 draw for Lokomotiv Tashkent.
