Sarkodie is off to Miami to celebrate 30th birthday

Rapper Sarkodie has disclosed that he will be visiting Miami to celebrate his 30th birthday -- the same day which happens to be the release date for his upcoming single "Mewu" featuring Akwaboah.

The "Adonai" rapper was in LA over the weekend to witness the 15th edition of Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards. He captioned an all-white and blue costume "LA was Fun ... Off to Miami Bday week Starts now    10th July #MEWU #MARY".

Sarkodie was nominated in the "Best International Act: Africa" category alongside Stonebwoy,  South Africans, AKA and The Soil, Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, Kenyan Afro-Pop band Sauti Sol, and two Nigerian Pop stars, Wizkidand Yemi Alade but unfortunately lost out to Stonebwoy.
