Timaya is 38 years old

Yesterday was the birthday of top Nigerian singer Timaya. He is now 38 years old.

Timaya (Enetimi Alfred Odon) was born in Port-Harcourt in River state. He is the youngest of 15 children.

After dropping out of a tertiary institution, Timaya went into music. He was part of Eedris Abdulkareem’s group for three years before embarking on his solo career.

Timaya released his first album in 2007 which featured the hit single ‘Dem Mama’ that made him a nationwide star.

Timaya now has six albums to his credit and is one of Nigeria’s most consistent musicians.
