Taylor Swift pens sweet letter to fan who lost her mother

Sunday (May 10) is probably a pretty bittersweet occasion indeed for Taylor Swift, as her own mother Andrea Finlay was recently diagnosed with cancer. Which means Taylor and her family have probably got a lot on their minds right about now, and all the mommyish sentimentality that his holiday invokes is probably making the tissues fly over at the Swift household.

On Tumblr yesterday, a young girl named Kaileen reached out to Swift to ask for a hug and some comfort because she lost her own mother recently and has been having some trouble coping with this day. Here is her letter:
