Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene asked Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingston who is the Technical Coordinator and the Goalkeeper’s trainer respectively of the Black Stars to brief him about the happenings in the camp of the team.

Stephen Appiah in a hilarious manner said “Although I was the skipper of the Black Stars in the same team that had Richard Olele Kingston, he was older than me, so he should speak".

Kingston replied “When I once asked you to hand me the captain's arms band in a game, you decline, so this time you should  speak,” It threw the whole auditorium, including Otumfuo Osei Tutu II into laughter.

However, in the end Kingston briefed the Asantehene on the state of the Black Stars since they started camping for the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Ethiopia on Sunday.

“The players have been training very well and we should buy Kwesi Appiah medicine because he is going to have a big headache in coming up with his starting line-up for the game,” he said.
