West Ham United are interested in signing Ghana international
The Hammers were reported to have nearly signed the Black Stars vice-captain before his transfer to the Welsh club from the French Ligue 1.
West Ham United moved to fifth on the English Premier League table on Saturday after their win against Sunderland are eyeing a spot in Europe next season coupled with their move to the Olympic Stadium from Upton Park.
The English club’s hierarchy is looking for a marque signing and Ghanaian player Andre Ayew fits the bill.
The player since joining Swansea City from Olympique Marseille has received plaudits all round with great performances week in week out. The player is currently Swansea City’s top scorer.
West Ham are preparing a transfer bid in the region of £14 million for Andre Ayew and manager Slaven Bilic will use the reunion with former Olympique Marseille teammate Dimitri Payet to lure the Ghanaian star.
Swansea City had to see off offers from Sunderland in the January transfer window as Sam Allardyce’s side were keen on signing Andre Ayew.
