Togbe Afede XIV who doubles as the President of the National House of Chiefs is the immediate past board chairman of NIB during the erstwhile administration.

He is believed to be the best person to steer the affairs of the state owned institution.

In a letter dated August 8, 2017, it said "The President has nominated the following persons for positions on the governing board of the National Investment Bank."

Other members of the new Board include;
