The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has asked the current management of Kumasi Asante Kototo to “continue working”.

Reports suggest that Otumfour was not pleased with Kuffour’s decision to let out a conversation he had with him, before official confirmation.

According to Asantekotokosc.com, official site for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, management has received the endorsement of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to continue working.

The Opoku Nti-led management were at the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday afternoon to meet the Owner and Life Patron of the club.

The Great King after the end of proceedings directed the club managers to “open up on any challenge” they face while working.

Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah confirmed the news to Asantekotokosc.com.

“Nana has asked Management to continue working. He also instructed that we open up on any challenge we will come across” said the club’s spokesman.

General Manager, Opoku Nti when reached by Asantekotosc.com corroborated Kwaku Ahenkorah’s story. He said, his management has been mandated to stay on and work.

“Yes, Nana asked us to continue working” said Opoku Nti who assured that, with the renewal of his mandate, proper administrative structures would be laid for the club’s development.
