The Ebusua Dwarfs goalie was sensational in post and hadn’t been him his side could have shipped in a lot of goals.  Abu made point blank saves and he dealt with long range shot too.

Eric Owusu

The Bechem United right back proved why he earned a call-up to the Black Stars Team ‘B’. Owusu’s surging runs and crosses were fantastic and electrified the stadium with a goal. He was named the Man of the Match.

Abdul Bashiru

He did what he is noted for by making a lot of runs to support attack and sending dangerous crosses into the 18-yard box of Aduana Stars as Bechem United were held to a 1-1 draw. He was also quick to retreat and augment the defence whenever they came under attack.

Farouk Adams

He was a pillar in the Elmina Sharks backline. He managed to handle workaholic Joseph Essor who led the attack for Ebusua Dwarfs.

Wahab Adams

He produced a good cover for the Aduana Stars goalie. Wahab read the game well and was spot on with his tackles to coil Bechem United’s attacking threats

Justice Blay

He picked most of the 50-50 balls in midfield and also intercepted a lot of dangerous balls that could have resulted in goals.

Leonard Tawiah

He was the heart of the Hearts of Oak midfield as he won the midfield battle against Liberty Professionals. Tawiah maintained possession and his distributions were accurate.

Zakaria Mumuni

The right winger was superb in the Brong Ahafo derby. He gave Aduana Stars defence torrid time with his pace. Mumuni scored the match needed equaliser to hand the Dormaa boys a vital away point.

Thomas Abbey

He scored a brace to inspire the Phobians to a 0-3 win at Dansoman against Liberty Professionals and was adjudged the Most Valuable Player of the game. Thomas Abbey ended the first half of the season as the leading top scorer for Hearts of Oak and the second top scorer of the season with seven goals.

Prince Owusu Ampem

He was the two-goal hero for West African Football Academy in their 2-0 win against Inter Allies on Saturday
