Fans of the Gunners have hit out at Andre Ayew for failing to convert a glorious opportunity that was presented to him agaisnt Liverpool on Sunday.

Arsenal fans have taken to their Twitter handle to hurl all kinds of insults at Andre Ayew for missing a great chance against Liverpool in West Hams 4-0 defeat against Liverpool.

The North London side needed Liverpool drop points to enhance their chances of finishing in the top four when the Reds faced West Ham United over the weekend.

With his West Ham team 1-0 down to Liverpool, the Ghanaian had a glorious chance, a yard out to equalise with half-time approaching, but he failed to hit the target

Predictably, the world of social media dominated by Arsenal fans on Sunday erupted with disbelief, and no less hilarity, at the £20million man’s horrendous miss.
