The Central Regional capital Cape Coast has been hit by cholera outbreak.
This was confirmed by the Regional Health Directorate to pulse.com.gh. The Public Relations Officer of the regional directorate Rebecca Apkwonu who confirmed this said they are putting in measures to curb the situation.

She also denied media reports that some of the infected patients have died due to the disease.

“There is no death. As about an hour ago we had recorded no death.”
She therefore, cautioned the general public especially residents of Cape Coast to be extra hygienic and also be mindful of the cleanliness in their surroundings.
She finally encouraged all to report to a health centre immediately they start experiencing any symptoms of cholera.
