Chairman of the National Peace Council, Prof Emmanuel Asante is saddened by the scandal that has rocked the nation’s judiciary.

In the latest investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye team, thirty-four judges at the country’s High Courts, the Circuit and District courts were captured on camera allegedly taking bribes from litigants whose cases come before them.
The exposé was premiered at the Accra International Conference Centre despite an application of interlocutory injunction served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' property.

“It’s a sad day in the history of Ghana. There is nothing to be happy about. We should all be crying. And it calls for a sober reflection: what do we do to rescue Ghana from this rot that we find ourselves in?” he noted.
Titled Ghana In the Eyes of God: Epic of Injustice, the three-hour edited video, which is the result of a two-year painstaking investigation into the judiciary by ace investigative journalist, Anas also exposed some of the judges in a sex scandal.
