5 perish in Sampa road crash

A Samyang Istana mini bus with registration number A- 4783-12 traveling from Kumasi to Atebubu burst a tire and somersaulted killing four passengers and the driver instantly.

Five people have been confirmed dead in a road accident at Sampa in the Brong Ahafo region.

Three others who sustained injuries are currently receiving treatment at the Atebubu Government Hospital.The incident occurred Saturday night when a Samyang Istana mini bus with registration number A- 4783-12 traveling from Kumasi to Atebubu burst a tire and somersaulted killing four passengers and the driver instantly.The bodies of the deceased, according to Atebubu district Police commander who spoke to Starr News, have been deposited at the Atebubu hospital morgue.
