The Black Stars skipper showed his support for Accra Academy School when they faced off with rival Legon Presec in the National Science and Maths quiz.

Asamoah Gyan, who was a former student of Accra Academy Senior High School cheered on his alma-mater Accraca when they were in a comfortable lead in a quiz contest against Presby Boys Senior High School, Legon and St. Johns Grammer Senior High School on Wednesday.

Accra Academy were in the lead after the round two of the National Science and Maths quiz round of eight contest on Wednesday.
However, their lead was shattered by Presec who fought back to win comfortably with Accra Academy finishing third behind St John's Grammer.
Asamoah Gyan who is passionate about his alma-mater, Accra Academy has developed an ultra modern artificial turf for them.

Gyan is currently the all-time scorer of the Black Stars with 50 goals in international football career.
