The Ghana Football Association and journalist trooped to the Kotoka International Airport to welcome the national U-17 football team of Ghana, after winning silver in the 2017 Africa U-17 Nations Cup

The Black Starlets received a warm welcome from the Ghana Football Association, journalists and fans at the airports on Tuesday, after placing second in the just ended Africa U-17 Nations Cup in Gabon.

The high powered delegation from the GFA was led by Kwesi Nyantakyi, the President of the association and the head of the technical team of the Black Stars Kwesi Appiah was also there to welcome the team on arrival.

The Black Starlets finished second after they lost the final of the competition against Mali on Sunday to settle on the silver medal.

The Black Starlets will participate in the FIFA U-17 World Cup later in the year.
