According to Ghanasoccernet, the goalkeeper rejected a contract extension in June  due to lack of assurance of regular playing time after his current deal expired.

He wants to win back his place in the Black Stars, after coach James Kwesi Appiah excluded him from the team, hence the need for the goalkeeper to look elsewhere for much playing opportunities.

Razak Braima, 30 is now a free agent and is available for any interested club.

Braimaah was part of the Black Stars teams that played in both the 2015 and the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, helping the team to finish second and fourth, respectively.
