Pulse Sports writer Thomas Freeman Yeboah after a careful monitoring of the training sessions of the Black Stars is expecting Kwesi Appiah to line-up the squad below for the clash against Ethiopia on Sunday.

In post will be Wa All Stars Richard Ofori, with the four backs being Harrison Afful on the right full-back position, Lumor will take the left-full back and Danel Amartey and John Boye are likely to be the central pair.

Thomas Partey and Ebenezer Ofori will be in the central midfield, while Andre Ayew and Thomas Agyapong will be deployed on the left and right flanks.

Asamoah Gyan will be the first-choice striker for Kwesi Appiah’s charges, but the puzzle is who to partner him upfront.

That is a challenge for the Black Stars coach. From the team’s training sessions, Dwamena has been the most impressive striker, but the issue is would he risk the FC Zurich player on his debut by starting him ahead of the already established Black Stars player, Jordan Ayew.

Summary of the Black Stars line-up

Richard Ofori, Harrison Afful, Lumor, John Boye, Daniel Amartey, Thomas Partey, Ebenezer Ofori, Thomas Agyapong, Andre Ayew, Raphael Dwamena, Asamoah Gyan.
