The 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League was season officially launched on Wednesday, February 17, 2015. The league is scheduled to start on the weekend of February 20. The subject of club licensing was discussed with PLB boss Ashford Oku encouraging clubs to go by the rules.

Representatives from television sponsors Super Sport talked on the subject of live coverage and TV rights.
Clubs involved in the upcoming Premier League season also officially unveiled their jerseys ahead of the opening fixtures this weekend.
