Ghanaian duo of Joshua Otoo and Edward Kpodo have officially joined Armenian top-flight side Gandzascar FC, Pulse.com.gh can confirm.
The duo completed their protracted move on Tuesday as Joshua Otoo signed a year deal while his compatriot Edward Kpodo penned down one-and –half-year deal.
Joshua Otoo in an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh from his base in Armenia confirmed that he and Kpodo have joined Gandzascar FC.
“It is true I and Kpodo have joined Gandazascar FC, we completed our move last Tuesday, I signed a year deal while Kpodo signed one-and-half. We want to help the club achieve their target that is by finishing among the top four clubs and we are very happy for everything they have offered us,” Otoo told Pulse.com.gh.
Otoo who last season played for Ghanaian side Wa Allstars - in the local transfer window came close in joining Hearts of Oak but the move hit a snag after the two parties failed to reach an agreement.
And Kpodo after his contract expiration with Armenia side Shirak FC in 2015 returned to Ghana and signed a pre-contract with his former side Berekum Chelsea which he took part of the club’s pre-season games especially the maiden edition of the GHALC G-6 played last month.
