Partey vs Ndidi: Ghanaians and Nigerians start Twitter war over who is better

Ghanaians and Nigerians are currently battling it out on Twitter over who the better player is between <a data-link-role-code="none" href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/sports/football/hes-very-good-fabregas-praises-thomas-partey-after-barcelona-game/0295nkp" rel="noopener noreferrer">Thomas Partey</a> and Wilfred Ndidi.

The two players are currently the best from Africa when it comes to options in the middle of the park.

Partey has been a mainstay in the Atletico Madrid team for some years now and has grown into an important player for Diego Simeone’s side.

Meanwhile, Ndidi has also done very well for himself since joining Leicester City and is currently one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

The form of the two midfielders has sparked a heated debate between Ghanaians and Nigerians on Twitter.

While many Ghanaians chose Partey as the better player, the Nigerians also obviously picked Ndidi as the superior midfielder.

I'm beginning to think Ndidi is a tad overatted on this platform. Personally think while Ndidi is a fantastic DM (esp in PL), Idrissa Gueye & Thomas Partey have been better footballers over the last two seasons, albeit not so much.
