Born and bred Carlifonia girl, Lauren Conrad is an American television personality, fashion designer and author. With flawless beauty and make up, we just had to find out the secret behind it all.
"It wouldn't be inaccurate to call me a beauty-product fanatic. I love testing out the latest products, from lipsticks to liners" says Lauren. "Within my vast arsenal of cosmetics, I have a few key items that I use every day and keep neatly tucked inside my makeup bag for easy access".
These are 10 must-carry makeup items in her makeup bag:
Tint moisturizer: This is my everyday tinted moisturizer. It’s lightweight, so I still go back and touch up my complexion with concealer, but I love how easily it blends. I’m a big fan of the Beautycounter brand, because it uses only the safest ingredients.
Foundation: This is my go to foundation for times when I am going to be in front of the camera, or just need a little more coverage than my tinted moisturizer can provide. It leaves my skin looking flawless.
Concealer: Everyone needs a good concealer, and this NARS pick is my favorite. I use it to cover up fine lines, dark spots, under eye circles, and any other imperfections. It’s incredibly moisturizing and never cakey.
Eyeliner: I have been using this liquid liner for years. It’s such a staple in my makeup bag. The applicator is easy to use, and it doesn't smudge. The price is right, too!
Mascara: While some beauty products are worth investing in, this drugstore mascara lengthens lashes as well as any more expensive brand. Just like the name says, it leaves my lashes looking soft and full without any clumps.
Lip colour: I love these long-lasting, matte lip colors from Bite Beauty. I use the shade Quince most often, but I have several different ones in my makeup bag.
Powder blush: This stain gives my cheeks a dewy spring radiance. It’s very natural-looking and easy to blend. I switch to the brand’s powder blush, Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in the winter, when I want more of a matte look.
Bronzer: Chanel actually discontinued this bronzer, and I don’t know what I am going to do when my current compact runs out! I love its illuminating, oil-free formula. I use it for contouring, and it gives my skin a sun-kissed glow. If anyone has a recommendation for a similar bronzer, please let me know!
Brow Gel: Since I have fuller brows, I depend on this brow gel to keep unruly hairs in place. It goes on wet, which makes styling easy, and dries to a natural finish.
