Introducing The Hashtag Only Keyboard - HashKey

Social media expert Ben Gomori is on a mission to save you literally seconds of your life, with his dedicated HashKey.

You know the feeling, you want to #gtfo of the office for some #lunch but in the time you’ve spent pressing Alt+3 to hashtag, your boss has come over and asked you to do photocopying/get him a coffee/join in a meeting – #fml. If you’d just pressed one button, you’d be free now my friend, tucking into that panini without a care in the world #winning.

Ben says the idea for the HashKey first occured to him one night chatting to his girlfriend, who also works in social media: “She said: “I can’t count the number of times people have asked me where the hash symbol key is or how to do a hashtag.” I joked that we should invent a one-key keyboard that just has a hash key on it. One thing led to another and before I knew it I was launching my own Kickstarter campaign!”

The campaign aimed to raise £15,000 to expand their prototype product into larger scale production. But after the deadline, they failed to raise the amount.
